Salim Habib University has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Traffic Police, Karachi, with the aim of establishing and sustaining a collaborative partnership focused on organizing invigorating workshops, awareness sessions, and seminars, and providing coaching and mentorship along with internship opportunities for the students of SHU.

The initiation of this incredible partnership would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of Dr. Tahira Tariq, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Sciences & Humanities & Program Manager, Social Development & Studies, SHU, to whom we are immensely grateful.

The MoU Signing Ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Syed Irfan Hyder, Vice Chancellor, SHU, and Syed Peer Muhammad Shah (PSP), Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Traffic Police, Karachi. Ms. Pariwash Khan, Senior Deputy Registrar, SHU, and Mr. Malheer Khan, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) & Admin/TRACS, Traffic Police, Karachi, also graced the ceremony with their presence.

Notably present from SHU were Prof. Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences & Advisor to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Asif Shamim, Associate Dean, Social Sciences & Humanities, Head of the Office of Graduate Studies, and Director, Center for Policy Research & Sustainability (CPRS), and Mr. Qadeer Lakho, Assistant Registrar.
