Introduction
The MPhil in Islamic Civilization at Salim Habib University is a research-oriented program designed to develop a rigorous and contemporary understanding of Islamic intellectual, cultural, social, scientific, political, and ethical traditions. The program examines the historical development, enduring contributions, and contemporary relevance of Islamic civilization while equipping scholars to engage critically with the challenges facing Muslim societies and the wider world.

Program Objectives
The program promotes critical engagement with Orientalist scholarship and contemporary debates, informed interfaith and inter civilizational dialogue, and original research that contributes to education, policy, heritage, media, social development, and intellectual discourse. It prepares graduates for doctoral study and professional roles in teaching, research, curriculum development, publishing, cultural institutions, and advisory services.

List of Electives
16-year undergraduate qualification in Islamic Studies from an HEC-recognized university or degree-awarding institution.
Submit a valid GRE/HAT General/equivalent test score of at least 50%, in accordance with HEC requirements.
